What does your service provide?

Regenerate Mentoring offers a service that provides 1-2-1 mentoring and family support. Our mentors are there to help the child form a good relationship with a positive role model. At Regenerate Mentoring we will work closely with the mentees and their families and/or schools by putting together a tailored action plan. This action plan is designed to help the child develop social skills, form constructive relationships with others, and develop positive behaviours and aspirations. The ultimate goal is to provide our children and young adults with the tools to have a better future.

How much do your services cost?

Each case will be assessed individually and costs will based on the hours required per session and the duration of the mentoring program that is put in place. There are a number of funds and grants in the UK that can help absorb the cost of the mentorship provided by Regenerate Mentoring.

Does your service offer male and female mentoring?

Yes, we offer mentoring to both male and female.

How long are the sessions and how many months?

The timeframe around working with a mentor will be based on the assessment and the action plan that has been put in place for the mentee. Our program would generally run for a minimum of a school term. We would normally do one session a week but in some cases multiple. A single session would normally be 3 hours. Putting in more time, we will achieve a much higher success rate.

What are overall goals for the business?

Our goal is to provide a better future for the children and young adults that we mentor.

How long have you been mentoring for?

We have worked with and mentored youngsters in the Bristol community for over 9 years.

Will I work with the same mentor?

The simple answer is yes. At Regenerate Mentoring we will couple a student with a mentor and encourage them to meet on a regular basis in order to establish a good relationship. In some programmes, mentoring sessions will follow a set agenda and involve specific activities. Aligning the same mentor with the set agenda means we will achieve positive results.
